• We believe there is one mediator between God and men, Jesus Christ.
  • We believe that every person is born into sin, and fails to please God in any way by any of his own
    efforts.
  • We believe that God, who is love, sent His only Son, Jesus Christ -- who was conceived by the Holy
    Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life -- to teach us the truth about God.
  • We believe that the power of sin, which is death, was broken by the power of God's love.  Jesus
    took the penalty for sin by his own death on the cross, was resurrected from the dead, and now
    lives forever as our advocate before God.
  • We believe the grace of God is for everyone who accepts Jesus Christ as Lord, and begins a new
    'spiritual' life of obedience to Him.
  • We believe that Jesus will return as He promised, to judge all men, and to begin a new heaven and
    a new earth where those who have loved and believed in Him will live forever.

The SECRETS OF THE LILY program focuses specifically on these core beliefs:

  • That God is sovereign over all of life, and that the primary reason for our existence is to love and
    serve God, and enjoy Him forever.  From this perspective, we desire to integrate Biblical principles
    into our personal world view, and are committed to learning, applying and trusting God's truth
    about our experiences, our relationships, our conduct, and our aspirations.

  • That the Bible is the inspired Word of God, entirely true and the absolute authority over every area
    of life.  We believe that God, the Creator and Lord of the Universe, also speaks to us through
    creation, through history, and through our present reality, confirming what the Bible reveals.

  • That every person was created in the image of God, that only by faith in Jesus Christ can we move
    from sin and death to a renewed life.  By the power of the Holy Spirit at work within us, God
    restores us to the original beauty He intended for us to live and exhibit, which is infinitely more than
    we could ever ask for or imagine.
